M1500 provides modular scalability for companies that
need a backup solution that can grow and change with
their data requirements. Developed with flexibility
in mind, the M1500 can be configured to fit the performance
and capacity requirements of the most aggressive users.
The scalability of the M-Series (including the M1500
and M2500) is unrivaled because it does not have to
taken off-line, shipped to the manufacturer, or rebuilt
when new modules are added. The M-Series libraries also
boasts the greatest density per rack space in this class
of tape library and leave valuable rack space for other
IT infrastructure.
- Native capacity for SDLT 600 of 6.3TB at 36MB/s
native transfer rate
- Base-library configurable from zero to two
drives and up to 25 cartridge slots
- Scalable via StackLink up to ten modules in
a rack providing up to 20 drives and 250 cartridge
slots by the backup software package as a single
