When combined with NetVault: Backup the VaultDR Plugin Module ensures that your data will be available quickly in the event of a catastrophic failure. VaultDR is easy to use. All operations can be managed from the central NetVault: Backup server. During the regularly scheduled period, a DR image of a live system can be taken Online or an administrator can take the necessary client machine offline, boot it with the tools provided in the VaultDR plugin, and take an Offline image. From the NetVault: Backup server, the administrator selects the disk and partition(s) to be backed up and creates the VaultDR image. In the event of a catastrophe or disk failure, administrators need only to boot the affected machine with the tools provided in the VaultDR Plugin which contains the necessary drivers required to re-establish network communication, and then recover the VaultDR image over the network.
