The RAIDFrame is our highest capacity backup offering and provides RAID5 redundancy for your backups. RAIDFrame products use large removable cartridges called RAIDPac media. RAIDPacs house three hard drives and an internal hardware RAID which can perform RAID 5, RAID 0 and RAID 1 as well as aggregation*. With G2 RAIDPacs, single acapacities of up to 9TB per cartridge (RAIDPac) - a total of 45TB - are possible!

RAIDPacs are completely self contained including their own hardware RAID controller and cooling system. No special driver software is required to connect a RAIDPac to a computer with a SATA (or USB 3.0*) connection. This capability protects your data from the worst of disasters (complete equipment loss) by allowing access to your data with any standard PC computer. It also provides the largest capacity hot pluggable removable media in the world. For environments requiring serious storage without sacrificing reliability or redundancy, the RAIDPac media is ideal.
